    A little something about me.

I received my undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree from San Diego State University in 1992. I received my Psychology Doctorate (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Family Psychology, from Azusa Pacific University in Southern California in 2001. I first became a licensed psychologist in California in 2002 and began a practice in the Central Coast of CA. My family and I relocated to Shreveport, LA in 2009, where I worked in a group private practice for four and a half years. We finally settled in the DFW area the summer of 2014, and have been a Licensed Psychologist in Texas since February 2015.

I have worked and trained in many different settings with a culturally diverse group of individuals including private practice, victims of violence clinic, attention and learning center, social security and veteran disability exams, corrections, foster youth, psychiatric hospital, forensic psychology, custody evaluations, parent coordination, substance abuse treatment center, college counseling, and long-term care working with with the geriatric population. In, addition, I have worked many years with attention and learning disabilities, disruptive behaviors in children, child abuse, Christian counseling, psycho-educational assessment, and personality and psychological assessment of children and adults.

As a California native, I love spending time outdoors recreating in nature, spending time with my family, gourmet cooking, and serving my community.
